ZPods Sleep Tracking Device
It is estimated that as many as 50-70 million Americans suffer from sleep-related issues. Failing to get an adequate amount of sleep can affect all aspects of one’s life, from increasing one’s risk of developing cardiovascular disease to decreasing one’s overall quality of life. We will be working to develop a sleep tracking device, targeted for children with sensory issues, so that bio factors such as REM sleep, brain waves, and eye movements can be shared with physicians and parents to ensure optimal sleep for these individuals. We are a team of Biomedical Engineering majors who are working with the startup ZPods to accomplish this goal of developing a commercially viable prototype capable of detecting this information.
