YouLock

Over the last two decades, bike theft in North America has grown to epidemic proportions—affecting about 2 million riders each year (reference: 529 garage). Furthermore, bike locks are expensive, bulky, and cumbersome. YouLock is our solution: A expansive fleet of electronic bike locks. Anyone can affordably locate, access, and activate these locks to park their bikes, scooters, or other micromobilty vehicles. We plan to rapidly and strategically deploy YouLock so nobody has to purchase and commute with a personal bike lock again. This project is the first of its kind: devices that can be easily, securely, and permanently attached to any bike rack. YouLock not only provides our customers peace of mind, but can protect our users’ investments in environmentally friendly transportation alternatives, alleviating area traffic congestion, and lowering the carbon output of our commuters.
