Working Within

Black leaders are consistently separated from the resources that can help scale their impact. Black non-profit leaders are using budgets 24% smaller than their White counterparts, and Black-led organizations operate with 76% smaller pools of unrestricted net assets. Black business owners faced the largest financial hardships during COVID.

At Working Within, we work with disruptive, mission-based Black leaders and organizations that dedicate themselves to Black causes. We work as business partners to these leaders helping to execute their visions at the highest levels through operations, strategy, and change management services.

Our team brings together expertise in corporate finance, management consulting, mindset, marketing, and philanthropy to extend Black leaders’ capacity and resources to serve. Our hope is to eventually be able to provide capital to these Black leaders. We are looking for investors, mentors, market analysis, and legal advice as we continue building our professional services firm.
