Uplift

According to the WHO, 1 in 6 people in the world have a disability, and over 50% of them have difficulties traveling. Information related to accessibility is often scattered, unreliable, or non-existent. Our solution is an intuitively designed, easy to use mobile application where users can read, write, and post reviews based on their own personal experiences. These reviews are then used to populate an interactive and customizable map interface where users can explore, navigate, and discover places near them. No existing solutions on the market are as centralized, community driven, or reliable. We are a team of 3 students that met while studying abroad this summer. We have experience in engineering, finance, disabilities, and entrepreneurship, and are looking for the funding and mentorship expertise to take this idea to market.
