The Minority Network
The Minority Network focuses on providing Black, LatinX, and Native American students with access to career opportunities and resources that have historically been inaccessible to these communities. Currently, the organization provides mentorship programs that introduce students to various careers and provides them the opportunity to create projects similar to what would be expected from an entry-level analyst.
We plan on expanding the organization in various ways: We intend to expand our mentorship program to cover other areas such as technology careers as well. We are currently building partnerships with corporations so that we can create pipeline between our programs and potential career opportunities.
In summary, The Minority Network aims to help underrepresented college students learn more about various career opportunities by providing access to mentorship programs and sharing resources to not only educate students but to also help them kickstart their careers.
