Medical software used by physicians today is a joke. It’s primarily designed to help them claim insurance. My plan is to use AI, voice and user-friendly text-entry, and integration with hardware to build software that will help doctors perform everything from diagnosis to writing a treatment plan better. Many startups are tackling this problem in an one-dimensional way — for instance, use voice-entry only. But, I believe that the best of everything that technology offers today (and tomorrow) is required (and possible) to build a compelling vision of a smooth and inspiring user experience for physicians. Having worked in this area before, I’m familiar with how physicians think. If a physician fully understood technology and design, what kind of vision would they have? I need team members and mentors to speed up.
