This cost burden further increases due to the need to replace prosthetics in their entirely due to wear and tear along with physical changes such as weight changes or height changes, leading to a lifetime cost of hundreds of thousands of dollars.
Phoenix is a prosthetic designed with interchangeable parts, so that individual parts can be exchanged or replaced without having to replace the prosthetic in its entirety. This may include exchanging worn out parts, or altering the width/length of a prosthetic.
