Mentor & Me

I want to create a platform for graduate students to be paired with alumni (in the industries that interest them). Alumni will act as mentors and will have the opportunity to not only be more involved with mentees but also be giving back to the school that helped get them to the position that they are now in (whatever that may be). By creating this platform students will be able to: (1) learn about the industry that they are thinking about going into; (2) Create a relationship that could turn into a summer internship; and (3) create a network in their industry before graduating. While Alumni will be able to: (1) give back their time and help teach the next generation; (2) know that they are having a significant impact on a current student; and (3) possibly find a new intern to fill a role that they may need.
