Jada’s Vegan World Cafe

My name Is Jada Miles, I am a sophomore business major. The name of my company is Jada’s Vegan World Café. I’ve been cooking since I was 8 years old with my mom and since then, I knew I had a passion for cooking. I also took culinary class my freshmen year in high school. I want to open my own vegan restaurant in honor of my mom that passed away from breast cancer back in 2013. My mission is to preserve important artifacts of the deep, rich, and ongoing history of the vegetarian movement in the U.S. My vision for my company is a flourishing world, in which avoidable human and animal suffering. My vegan soul food restaurant is vegan, 100% Non-GMO, and Cruelty free. I am currently in competition with this restaurant in Louisville, Kentucky called Heart & soy/ Roots. For me to get started, I’m asking for 2,000 for my taste testing focus group phase 1 &2. I’m going to target church members, college students, and the general public.
