District 14 Youth Advisory Board

The District 14 Youth Advisory Board (YAB) is an initiative founded in 2021 by Senator Brian Williams to educate St. Louis area youth on issues impacting St. Louis and Missouri. With a commitment to the value of youth investment, Williams and his staff worked to connect youth with educational and career opportunities, preparing them to succeed and engage in their communities.

Under the direction of Senator Williams’ Office, direction for YAB’s expansion and licensure will be explored. It is the hope of the Senator’s Office that obtaining nonprofit status will increase YAB’s ability to assist St. Louis youth in access to opportunity, career and leadership development, and community engagement. These results will be achieved through an experience based curriculum, cooperative community partnerships, and a commitment to research based action.
