The total amount of counterfeit medications is valued at $200B, and Africa accounts for over 40% of this market. Up to 70% of medications are counterfeit in some African countries accounting for 116,000 deaths. These deaths unnecessarily lost lives cost patients and health systems an average of $38.5m a year. We are currently exploring the software and GPO registration and conducting feasibility studies on how to enter this market and build a viable business for customers and partners in this market.
